Private youth baseball lessons for players or potential players of any age and skill level.
I specialize in catching and hitting lessons for high school aged players (14 and over). Lessons for any position are available to players 13 and under. Lesson times are very flexible and can be scheduled over the phone or by email.

RATES:
• 1 person: $40 per 1hr lesson
• 2 or more people: $35 per 1hr lesson

ABOUT ME:
My name is Tyson Van Winkle and I am currently playing professional baseball for the Arizona Diamondbacks. I have recently completed my second year of professional baseball as a catcher in the minor leagues. I was drafted in the 10th round of the 2009 amateur baseball draft after completing 4 years of education at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA where I was a 4 year starting catcher.

I am a Vancouver resident and a 2005 graduate of Hudson's Bay High School. During my time at Hudson's Bay I earned a number of baseball awards including being named to the 4a Greater St. Helens league All-State team as a junior (2004) and senior (2005) and posting a batting average of .530 as a junior and .460 as a senior. My senior year I posted a .97 ERA as a pitcher and was award the Clark County Player of the Year Award.

I was the starting catcher at Gonzaga University for 4 years. My senior year (2009) we won the West Coast Conference Championship. That year I was the team leader in offense with a .362 batting average and the school record for doubles (27) in a single season.

OTHER INFORMATION:
I have been an instructor at many youth baseball camps and have had the opportunity to work with a variety of players at all ages and abilities. I have worked one-on-one with players and instructed groups of 10 or more.
